SALISBURY – The ramp from northbound Interstate 85 to Webb Road, Exit 70, is set to close for several days while the concrete pavement is repaired.
The pavement on the ramp has deteriorated, causing uneven transitions. The repair is essential to prevent potential damage to vehicles.
Weather permitting, the closure will be in place from 10 p.m. Monday through 6 a.m. Friday. Alternate dates for the work are Oct. 21-24.
Traffic will be detoured to follow I-85 North to the Peeler Road exit and back down I-85 South to access Webb Road during the closure.
Drivers should be cautious and mindful of work crews near the Webb Road interchange and plan for a little extra time for the detour.
