DURHAM – N.C. Department of Transportation contractors will close the ramp from Cheek Road to eastbound U.S. 70 from 10 p.m. Tuesday until 6 a.m. Wednesday.
This closure will allow the contractor to shift a concrete barrier to accommodate the opening of the eastbound U.S. 70 exit to N.C. 98/Holloway Street, which is scheduled to occur on Sept. 10 depending on weather impacts.
During the closure, drivers on Cheek Road should take Muldee Street to Hoover Road to N.C. 98 to access U.S. 70 East.
