MEBANE – A traffic safety investigation has led N.C. Department of Transportation officials to modify an intersection in western Orange County.
There is currently a two-way stop where Mill Creek and High Rock roads intersect, with traffic flowing continuously on Mill Creek Road.
NCDOT plans to install new signs to make the junction an all-way stop on Tuesday, July 23, weather permitting.
Drivers on Mill Creek Road should watch for new signage, slow down and prepare for the new traffic configuration.
