Two Triangle Driver License Offices to Open One Hour Earlier

RALEIGH – The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles’ is extending hours at two driver license offices in the Triangle to make it more convenient for people to meet their DMV needs.

Starting June 24, the driver license offices on Miami Boulevard in Durham and in the Old Municipal Building in Fuquay-Varina will open one hour earlier at 7 a.m. Monday-Friday to assist customers during the summer rush.

Both offices offer services such as driver license and REAL ID issuances, state-issued IDs, duplicate licenses and renewals, and road skills and knowledge testing.

The extended hours of operation at both offices will continue through Aug. 30.

DMV will continue to find and implement improvements throughout the summer season to reduce wait times and allow for extended hours at license offices across the state. Online services such as driver license renewals are also available at www.MyNCDMV.gov.
