PINK HILL – A section of a Lenoir County road will be closed for three days this week for maintenance work.
Davis Mill Road, northeast of Pink Hill, will be closed in both directions from 8 a.m. Wednesday until 4 p.m. Friday. The closure will be for 1/10 of a mile near Deep Run Church Road. During this time, the N.C. Department of Transportation will replace a drainage pipe under the road.
Traffic will be detoured onto Vernie Heath Road and Deep Run Church Road. Drivers should anticipate needing extra time for their commutes and use caution when approaching the work zone.
Another section of the road was closed earlier this week for similar work.
