CHARLOTTE – The N.C. Department of
Transportation will hold a public meeting next week regarding two proposed
projects to extend Chestnut Parkway from Matthews-Indian Trail Road to Old
Monroe Road in Union County.
The meeting will be held Tuesday, Feb. 20 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the
Indian Trail Elementary School Media Center, 200 Education Drive. The public may
attend the meeting at any time to talk with NCDOT representatives and to submit
comments. No formal presentation will be made at the meeting.
Citizens can view maps and preliminary project designs at http://www.ncdot.gov/projects/publicmeetings.
Comments can also be submitted in writing, by phone, email or mail
through March 7. For more information about the project or to submit comments,

NCDOT will provide auxiliary aids and services under the Americans
