YANCEYVILLE — N.C. Department of
Transportation maintenance crews must close a small portion of Stephentown Road
just east of Yanceyville, while workers replace a failing pipe underneath the
roadway in Caswell County.
Crews will close the road
at 9 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 19. It is scheduled to reopen at 5 p.m. on Friday,
March 2, weather permitting.
Motorists traveling
through the area will be detoured around the closure on N.C. 119 and U.S. 158.
Transportation officials advise drivers to watch signs
for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
