Deputy Todd Cook Bridge Dedication Ceremony in Davidson County

Comments will be made starting promptly at 1 p.m.

North Carolina Department of Transportation Division 9 Board Member Michael Wells Sr., Division Engineer Pat Ivey, law enforcement officials and others will speak.

Cook was a deputy with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office for three years before he was killed in the line of duty.

The NCDOT Board of Transportation approved a proposal to name the bridge in his honor at the November 2017 board meeting following a request from the Davidson County Board of Commissioners.
