To continue Hurricane Helene relief efforts in Western North Carolina, the N.C. Department of Transportation is offering a special two-day Prequalification Outreach Event for contractors.
The two-day prequalification outreach event will prepare firms to do business with NCDOT. Participation is not required to be prequalified. Prequalification is necessary to ensure that a firm has sufficient ability, experience and resources to perform the work specified on NCDOT contracts.
All firms interested in working on highway construction projects are required to become prequalified. These sessions with cover the N.C. Identity Management Service process, or NCID, documentation, experience requirements and information to complete the online prequalification application.
Registration is required and limited to two persons per firm. All six sessions are the same.
