Under the
Americans with Disabilities Act, the N.C. Department of Transportation prohibits discrimination based on a disability with respect to all terms and conditions of employment as well as access to its activities, programs – for example, DMV services, public meetings, highway rest areas and public transit.
Any interference, coercion, restraint, retaliation or reprisal of any person alleging disability discrimination is prohibited.
