The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles and the License Plate Agent Advisory Committee work together to ensure excellent and efficient customer service in regards to vehicle titling and registration services provided through contracts awarded under
N.C. G.S. 20-63.
NCDMV and the LPA Advisory Committee periodically review all forms and instructions used in vehicle titling and registration process to ensure understandability for the public.
The LPA Advisory Committee includes NCDMV staff members, and six LPA contractors appointed by the North Carolina Association of Motor Vehicle Registration Contractors who are appointed to serve two-year terms.
The LPA Advisory Committee meets quarterly.
