​Planning and development are underway for several transportation improvements projects in the Sandhills region of Moore County and parts of Hoke County.

These proposed projects are needed for supporting local economic growth, enhancing safety, and improving the quality of life for residents. By upgrading roads, highways, and intersections, these proposed projects will improve  connectivity, reduce travel time, and attract new businesses and tourism to the area.​
