Stallings Area Project Revisions
The N.C. Department of Transportation has coordinated with town staff and elected officials since 2018 to address concerns with the design of Old Monroe Road through town and particularly the intersection of Stallings and Potter Roads. The resulting quadrant left design will better suite the local community while still accommodating overall traffic needs.

The proposed roundabout design will improve local mobility and connectivity while still accommodating overall traffic needs. NCDOT representatives provided an update in February 2023 on the project’s impacts within the town limits.
