Project Overview
Planning and environmental studies are underway to extend Baltimore Road approximately 0.7 miles from U.S. 158 to I-40. Proposed work would also include building a new Interstate 40 interchange at the end of the Baltimore Road extension. The new interchange will provide direct access to I-40 from the communities of Bixby, Redland and the surrounding rural area.
The direct access to I-40 will support economic development and address traffic congestion at existing intersections.
