Project Information
Project No I-5701 will add lanes on I-40 from the I-440/U.S. 1/U.S. 64 interchange to Lake Wheeler Road (S.R. 1370).
Project No. I-5703 will reconstruct the existing I-40/I-440/U.S.1/U.S. 64 interchange.

The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public of the project and gather input on the proposed design.
These documents were relevant for this public meeting in 2019, see the project site for the latest information.
The public may attend at any time during the public meeting hours, as no formal presentation will be made.
Public Comment
NCDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and receive comments. The comments and information received will be taken into consideration as work on the project develops.
The opportunity to submit written comments will be provided at the meeting or can be submitted via phone, email or at NCDOT's public input portal by May 23, 2019.
