DANBURY – An N.C. Department of Transportation contractor will temporarily close a Stokes County road for a pipe replacement this week.
Overby Road closed to traffic today and will reopen by Feb. 28. During this time, crews will replace a storm pipe under the roadway.
A signed detour will guide drivers around the closure taking them onto Mountain, Flat Shoals, and Sizemore roads.
Drivers are advised to exercise caution when traveling through the area and to follow all posted signs and detours.
