CHARLOTTE – N.C. Department of Transportation maintenance crews are working with Charlotte Water to repair a void that has formed under the right shoulder on I-85 North past exit 36 (Brookshire Boulevard.)
At 7:30 tonight, Charlotte Water crews will close the two right lanes on I-85 North and the entrance lane from Brookshire Boulevard to I-85 North will be used as a thru lane during repairs. NCDOT crews will be on site to backfill the void with stone.
All lanes should open by 6 a.m. Wednesday morning.
