CANDOR - The N.C. Department of Transportation will close the southbound off-ramp of Interstate 73 at N.C. 211 this week.
Beginning the morning of Jan. 29, crews will close the ramp to perform maintenance repairs due to slope failure.
The off-ramp is scheduled to reopen Feb. 7, weather permitting.
Signed detours will be in place for motorists directing them to the next interchange at I-73 and U.S. 220 Alternate to take the northbound off-ramp to N.C. 211.
