WILMINGTON – The N.C. Department of Transportation will permanently close a left turn lane on a highly traveled Wilmington Road.
Crews are scheduled to close the left turn lane on North College Road turning onto Spring View Drive on Monday to improve safety.
After this lane is permanently closed, drivers needing to make a left turn should instead turn at the Kings Drive and N. College Road intersection, which is only a half mile away.
Drivers are urged to slow down near the work site and use caution.
