RALEIGH – Thanks to $1.5 million contract awarded to ST Wooten Corp. by the N.C. Department of Transportation, 42 sections of secondary roads in Franklin and Wake counties will see a smoother drive.
Contractors will be responsible for milling, resurfacing and shoulder reconstruction along a total of 11.8 miles of roadway. More than 10 miles of roadway is located in Franklin County with the rest being in Wake County.
Work can begin as early as later this month and finish in the fall of 2025.
