JACKSONVILLE - The final of three drainage pipes is scheduled to be installed in an Onslow County roadway next week.
Blue Creek Road near Westgate Drive will be closed May 13 – 15. To improve drainage in the area, the N.C. Department of Transportation will install a pipe. This is the third new drainage pipe on Blue Creek Road this year, ahead of the road being resurfaced in the coming months.
Traffic will be detoured onto N.C. 24/235 (Richlands Highway) and Pony Farm to access either side of the closure.
Drivers should use caution and plan ahead.
