MOREHEAD CITY – Drivers travelling in Morehead City this week should be mindful of crews working to improve the drainage.
Between Aug. 13 – 15, the North Carolina Railroad Company and N.C. Department of Transportation will close the inside westbound lane of Arendell Street (U.S. 70) near North 20th Street and the crossovers at 20th and 19th streets.
During this time, crews will replace a pipe underneath the railroad tracks.
Drivers should slow down in the work zone and avoid the area if possible.
