THOMASVILLE – N.C. Transportation maintenance crews will be closing a Davidson County road next week for a pipe replacement project.
On Monday, Aug. 1, East Hollygrove Road will be closed in both directions near Johnsontown Road to allow the crew to safely replace a failed crossline pipe. The road will remain closed through Aug. 3 or until pipe is replaced and road repaired.
Motorists are advised to use the signed detour of Johnsontown, Black Farm, Sullivan and Cunningham roads.
Drivers are also reminded to use additional caution while traveling in this area and plan accordingly for delays due to the detour.
