WINSTON-SALEM – The N.C. Department of Transportation will temporarily close a section of U.S. 52 in Forsyth County for a biennial bridge inspection.
U.S. 52 South near South Main Street (Exit 103) will have alternating lane closures from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Dec. 14 and 15 to allow crews to safely inspect the bridge over South Fork Muddy Creek. The northbound side of the bridge will be inspected on Dec. 14 and the southbound side will be inspected on Dec. 15.
Drivers should use caution while traveling through the work zone and plan for delays due to the lane closures.
