STATESVILLE – Tomorrow night, travelers in Iredell County will see a new traffic pattern coming to an intersection near the Interstate 40 and Interstate 77 interchange.
N.C. Department of Transportation contractors will remove the traffic signal at the intersection of Station Street and East Broad Street. The new traffic pattern will prevent left turn movements at the crossroads for westbound traffic on East Broad Street entering and exiting Station Street and eastbound traffic on East Broad Street entering and exiting the Signal Hill Mall driveway.
Drivers should slow down when traveling through the work zone and be on the lookout for new signage once the traffic shift is complete.
