CLEMMONS – Crews plan to close a ramp along Interstate 40 overnight to install an overhead sign.
The off-ramp from I-40 West to Harper Road is set to close from 10 tonight until 7 a.m. Wednesday.
For motorists traveling in this area, there will be a detour in place following I-40 West to N.C. 801 (Exit 180A) and U.S. 158 to access Harper Road.
This work is part of construction to replace the I-40 bridges over the Yadkin River and to widen and make improvements along I-40. The sign installation and ramp closure are weather dependent and may be subject to change.
