GREENSBORO – A Guilford County intersection will undergo safety upgrades this week as the result of a recent traffic study.
An all-way stop is scheduled to be installed at the junction of Old Julian Road and Alamance Church Road starting at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Currently, only traffic on Old Julian Road is directed to stop at the intersection.
The installation of new signs and roadway markings and an overhead flasher is expected to be complete by 4 p.m., weather permitting. Learn more about the benefits of all-way stops on the N.C. Department of Transportation's safety and mobility webpage.
Drivers should keep an eye out for crews working at this intersection Wednesday and prepare for the new traffic design.
