CHARLOTTE – N.C. Department of Transportation maintenance crews will close a section of Mount Pleasant Road near Dr. Floyd Road at 8 a.m. Monday, March 19, weather permitting. The closure will be in place through mid-afternoon Wednesday, March 21.
The closure is necessary to replace two cross pipes under the roadway.
While the road is closed, traffic will be detoured along Mount Pleasant Road, Mount Olive Road, Cline School Road and Gold Hill Road.
