JACKSONVILLE — The N.C. Department of
Transportation invites the public to a meeting on Monday, Feb. 12, about
proposed medians on N.C. 53/Western Boulevard in Jacksonville.
Medians reduce crashes and provide pedestrians crossing a road with
a refuge area. The public can view a map displaying the location and design of
the project on the NCDOT website.
The meeting will take place from 5 to 7 p.m.
at 200 Marine Boulevard in Jacksonville. Interested residents may
attend at any time during the meeting, as no formal presentation will be made.
NCDOT representatives will be available to provide information and answer
questions. The opportunity to provide written comments will also be
provided.
Residents who cannot attend the meeting and would like additional
information or to provide comments, may contact NCDOT Design Engineer Trace

Castle Hayne, N.C. 28429. Comments can be submitted through March 13, 2018.
NCDOT will provide auxiliary aids and services under the Americans
