ASHEVILLE — The N.C. Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting on Monday, Jan 8, regarding proposed improvements to Merrimon Avenue intersections with Edgewood Road and W.T. Weaver Boulevard.
The proposed projects are intended to improve traffic operations and enhance safety around the intersections of Edgewood Road and W.T. Weaver Boulevard.
Interested citizens may attend the meeting at any time between 4-7 p.m. at the North Asheville Recreation Center, 37 East Larchmont Road.
NCDOT officials and representatives from the consulting firm will be available to answer questions and accept comments at the meeting. Comments will be accepted through Jan. 29 and all of the comments received will be taken into consideration as the project develops.
