CONCORD – The N.C. Department of Transportation will close the ramp from U.S. 29/601 to I-85 North in Concord this weekend, weather permitting.
During the closure, contract crews will install storm drains across the ramp, backfill the area, pave and build up the shoulders to connect to the roadway.
The ramp will close at 8 p.m. Friday, July 27 and will open by 6 a.m. Monday, July 30. While the ramp is closed, motorists can stay on U.S. 29 North, exit at Dale Earnhardt Boulevard, and go west to get to I-85 North.
