GoPass

GoPass is a bus pass available to eligible North Carolina state government employees and offers free rides on any of the four public transportation agencies in the Triangle region—GoTriangle, GoRaleigh, GoDurham and GoCary—as well as N.C. State University’s Wolfline and Duke University’s Duke Transit.

All permanent, temporary, full and part-time employees of any state agency or organization who commute to work in or between Wake, Durham or Orange counties are eligible. Administered by the N.C. Department of Transportation’s Integrated Mobility, GoPasses are valid for one year and are updated annually.

Utilizing the Umo Mobility app, GoPass holders can scan a code from their mobile device when boarding the bus to “pay” their fare.

For those without a smartphone or other mobile device, a physical GoPass card is available for purchase ($5 if purchased in person, $6 if the card is purchased and mailed to you).

GoPass may only be used by the registered employee and cannot be transferred to or used by another individual
