GARNER - Crews plan to close Commerce Parkway off Interstate 40’s Exit 312 at 11 p.m. today from Cleveland Road to the second driveway heading toward N.C 42.
This temporary closure will allow contractors to complete widening for a right-turn lane onto Cleveland Road from Commerce Parkway. This section of road is expected to reopen in early December.
Traffic on Cleveland Road will be detoured to N.C. 42 while drivers on N.C. 42 will need to use Cleveland Road.
Transportation officials remind drivers to remain alert, obey all posted traffic signs and follow instructions of local law enforcement in active work zones.
