SALISBURY – N.C. Department of Transportation crews will close part of a Rowan County road next week for maintenance improvements.
At 7:30 a.m. on March 13, 6331 Old Mocksville Road will close so maintenance crews can replace a storm drain pipe that crosses under the road. The replacement is necessary to prevent damage to the road and adjacent properties. Work is expected to be complete by March 17.
While the closure is in effect, traffic will be detoured to East Ridge Road and U.S. 601 to access Old Mocksville Road.
The alternate dates for this project are March 20-24.
Motorists are reminded to use caution while approaching the work zone and using detours.
