GREENSBORO – Beginning Sunday, N.C. Department of Transportation contractors will be installing a new traffic pattern in Guilford County on U.S. 70/Wendover Avenue that will require a lane shift. These changes will occur in the eastbound lanes starting at Spring Garden Street to a point just past Holden Road.
The work is scheduled to begin on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. and end on Monday at 6 a.m.
The lane shift will allow free flow access from Holden Road onto eastbound U.S. 70 (Wendover Avenue).
No detour is necessary. Please be alert, use caution, and follow traffic control devices through the work zone.
