| The Location and Surveys Unit currently employs over 200 employees located all over the State of North Carolina. The personnel in our 13 Division Offices located from the Outer Banks to the Blue Ridge Mountains conducts the bulk of the field surveys. These field surveys provide information such as horizontal alignment, field topography, vertical alignment, centerline profile, DTMs and property ownership. Our field offices also create graphic files from this data utilizing a variety of Surveying and CADD software. Within the Raleigh Century Center Main Office are the Administration Staff, Project Data and Condemnation Group, Private Engineering Firms Group and the Geomatics Training and Support Group. |
