Susan Pullium oversees the Transportation Planning Branch and Performance Metrics Management Office. She is responsible for delivery of the department’s 25-year transportation infrastructure vision and strategic plan and serves as the executive liaison to metropolitan and rural planning organizations.
Prior to joining NCDOT, Pullium served in the Wake County School System, where she was responsible for growth and planning. She was director for student assignment and served on the Student Assignment Task Force. She also is a former biology teacher and department chair in North Carolina and Arizona.
Pullium earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Arizona State University.
